The “Lamina Dream for Thai Children to Learn” project was initiated based on the commitment of the company’s executives and employees since 2001. Driven by the belief that true success must grow alongside Thai society, the project was created with a vision to recognize the value and importance of children and youth, who will become the future pillars of the nation. By collaboratively developing and providing educational opportunities, the project aims to help Thai youth build a better future, in line with the company’s promise: “Lamina strives to grow sustainably alongside Thai society.”

Lamina and its partners awarded 90 scholarships.

This has led to the continuous construction and handover of school buildings, educational supplies, and scholarships to schools in remote areas for 18 years across 17 projects. These efforts have been strongly supported by various partners, including the Kratingtone 4WD Club, authorized dealers, car distributors, our team, all Lamina film users, the media, and many other stakeholders. This activity is considered one of the company’s core missions, demonstrating social responsibility and sustainable growth. As the leading window film market leader in Thailand for over 23 years, Lamina remains committed to growing sustainably alongside society.

The latest project involved the construction of a large, single-story school building with 4 classrooms, which was handed over on National Children’s Day to Nong Muang Chom Phu Thong School, Si Bun Rueang District, Nong Bua Lam Phu Province, on January 12. This year, additional improvements included pouring a 100-square-meter concrete yard in front of the flagpole, as well as constructing 4 additional student restrooms.

In addition to handing over the newly developed school building equipped with complete facilities to enhance the comfort of teaching and learning, collaboration was made with the dental team and medical personnel from Nonsang Hospital and Sribunruang Hospital in Nong Bua Lam Phu Province. They conducted a mobile dental clinic as part of the “Lamina Builds Dreams, Shares Smiles” project, held for the 9th time, to provide dental check-ups, treatments, and care for students and community residents. This year, Lamina Film also donated one mobile dental unit to Nonsang Hospital, which previously had insufficient dental equipment to meet the needs of the population. Dr. Warangkana Intalohit, a specialist dentist, represented the hospital in receiving the donation.

In addition, a scholarship ceremony was held to award 90 scholarships to students from 7 schools: Nong Muang Chom Phu Thong School, Ban Bung Kaew Nam Lad School, Ban Nong Thung Mon School, Ban Don Sawang School, Ban Huai Phai School, Ban Mo Tai School, and Ban Prong Jaeng School. Educational supplies and sports equipment were also donated to all participating schools. This year, nearly 500 students took part in the activities, and each received a “Dream Backpack” filled with school supplies and Children’s Day gifts.

The “Lamina Dream Project for Thai Children’s Education” is a charitable donation initiative that has continuously built new school buildings for schools lacking sufficient classrooms. This year, the selection process began in February of the previous year. The Lamina Volunteer Dream Team, together with the Krathing Tone Group, conducted unannounced visits to all nominated schools to ensure that the schools we assist will benefit the most from our project, both for the schools and the students.

About seven years ago, our project started providing scholarships for construction materials. However, for skilled labor in various trades, we assess based on the cooperation and unity of the community. The purpose of establishing this process is to help the community recognize the value of what has been built through everyone’s collective effort and to ensure that these structures are preserved and remain a lasting part of the community.

And here, we found that the people of Nong Muang Chomphu Thong community, along with all relevant sectors, demonstrated readiness, dedication, and cooperation in alignment with the selection criteria set by our committee.
