Techno-Sell (Frey) Co., Ltd. is the sole importer and distributor in Thailand of Lamina automotive and architectural window films, Lumar specialty films manufactured by Eastman Performance Films, USA, Thule vehicle cargo management systems from Sweden, and Auluxe premium car care products from the United States and United Kingdom.
Now in its 22nd year, the “Lamina Building Dreams for Thai Children” project continues to make a meaningful impact. With an investment of over 2 million baht, Lamina has funded the construction of a new school building and surrounding landscape improvements at Baan Lao Khao School, located in Phon Sai District, Roi Et Province.
The “Lamina Building Dreams for Thai Children” project was initiated by the management and employees of the company in 2002, based on the belief that true success must grow alongside giving back happiness to Thai society. The company therefore launched a project that focuses on the education of children and youth, so that they may grow up to become an important force for the nation in the future.
This has led to the continuous construction and handover of new school buildings, educational materials, and scholarships to remote schools for 22 years across 21 projects. The project has been well supported throughout by various kind-hearted groups, including the Krathing Thon 4x4 Club, authorized dealers, automobile dealers, Lamina window film customers (both automotive and architectural), the media, and many other involved individuals.
This activity is considered one of the company's core missions, reflecting its social responsibility as the leading window film brand in Thailand for 28 consecutive years. This year, Ms. Jannapa Saisamorn, Chief Executive Officer of Techno-Sell (Frey) Co., Ltd., led the management team and employee representatives in handing over the newly constructed school building.
The latest project involved the construction of a large, one-story school building with four classrooms. The structure was built on elevated ground to prevent flooding and includes a 270-square-meter concrete terrace connecting the building to the main road. The building was officially handed over to Baan Lao Khao School on National Children's Day, complete with classroom furniture and seating. Ms. Nittaya Bangtho, the school principal, accepted the building on behalf of the school.
In addition to the building, 120 scholarships, along with school supplies and sports equipment, were donated to Baan Lao Khao School and four nearby schools: Yangkham Wittaya School, Ban Ku Khanthanam Nongfangdaeng School, Ban Donkham School, and Muang Phon Sai School. A total of 486 students from all five schools participated in the day’s events.
As part of the activities, volunteer teachers from the Dream Weavers Team and Krathing Thon Club handed out special “Dream Bags” filled with school supplies and Children’s Day gifts. These contributions brought joy and smiles to students, parents, teachers, and local communities alike.
Ms. Jannapa Saisamorn, Chief Executive Officer of Techno-Sell (Frey) Co., Ltd., stated: “The ‘Lamina Building Dreams for Thai Children’ project is one of our core missions. Even though we continue to face challenges such as the COVID-19 crisis and economic inflation, we remain committed to this cause. We fully recognize the importance of giving back to society and strive to uplift teachers and children in underprivileged areas, offering them better educational opportunities—an essential foundation for the nation’s future.”
All school buildings constructed under the Lamina Building Dreams initiative follow a simple yet sturdy design, with safety for students and teachers as the top priority. After the handover, the responsibility of maintenance and maximizing the building’s benefits rests with the school and local community.
As part of this event, Lamina Film also collaborated with the Roi Et Provincial Public Health Office to organize the 12th “Lamina Smile Sharing Dental Mission”, offering free dental services to residents of Ban Lao Khao, Ban Lao Samran, Ban Tha Ngam, and Ban Don Chik. A full mobile dental unit valued at 195,000 baht was also donated to Phanom Phrai Hospital in Roi Et.
With nearly three decades of steady business growth, Lamina remains firmly committed to its mission of social responsibility. At the same time, the company fosters a strong sense of gratitude and purpose within its organization—instilling the importance of giving back to the nation. The “Lamina Building Dreams for Thai Children” project will continue into the future, helping build a better, more livable Thai society in line with the company’s enduring pledge:
